Have you ever seen a picture that looks like a small toy model only to realize in the end that it is an actual photograph of a real life object? If the answer is yes, then you have been fooled by tilt-shift photography.
Tilt-shift is a photography technique that utilizes selective focus to make objects in a photo appear as if they were a mini model. You feel as if the people or structures in the photo are little plastic pieces that you could pick up and move around like model figures.
On my recent trip to Cincinnati, I took a shot at producing a few tilt shift images. My brother and I went up to the top of a large hill at one of the nearby parks and took shots of the riverfront and into Kentucky. Here are the final photos from my experiment. I was taking a look back through some basketball photos that I shot about 4 years ago, back at Eastern Michigan University. The game was against conference rival Toledo, which of course I had a vested interest being from Toledo myself. The result of the game, I couldn’t quite remember, so I went ahead and looked it up… sadly the Eagles lost 56-66.

This past weekend Kujo Photography had the privilege of photographing a bridal shower here in Toledo, Ohio. The bride to be, Courtney, celebrated the event at a local hall with many friends and family in attendance.
Our cameras followed the day from the games, to lunch and then onto the presents. The centerpieces were a hit, both with the guests and my camera! Check them out in a few of the pictures below.

Today at KujoPhoto.com we are unveiling a new look. The design is a modified version of our old site, with the major change being to the navigation.
Now everything is separated by photography category. Along the top and down the left hand side of the site you will see the main pages (wedding, engagment, events, etc.). By clicking on anyone of those categories you will be taken to the main page for that category.
From there everything is labeled with a “sub navigation” in the right hand column to check out things such as pricing, galleries and other great photography information.

Over the past week and a half, here in Toledo, Ohio, we have experienced quite the snow storm. Nothing like the east coast has received, but during these 10 or so days over a foot of snow has fallen. Finally a mild day today brought some relief to the area.
A few days ago, while the snow was still falling I figuring that it would be a good time to get some winter weather photos, so I trekked outside to capture pictures of the snow.
